How long will your money last?

No account, nothing stored. Three numbers give you the runway in days and the gap to a 90-day cushion.

This is arithmetic, not advice. It doesn't know your debts, your household obligations or what you'd cut first. It only shows what your own numbers say.

Runway questions

What counts as cash for the runway calculation?
Only money you could actually spend this month: checking, savings and cash on hand. Leave out retirement accounts, home equity and anything you can't access without a penalty. Counting those is how people convince themselves they have more time than they do.
What should I count as essential?
Housing, utilities, food, transport needed for work or interviews, insurance premiums, minimum debt payments and childcare. Subscriptions, dining out and anything you'd cancel in a bad month aren't essential. List them separately so you can see what canceling buys you.
Why does the calculator suggest topping up to 90 days?
Unemployment claims commonly take two to six weeks to pay, and job searches take longer than people expect. Ninety days of essentials is the point where a normal claim delay doesn't force a decision you'd regret.
Does WUUUH store what I type here?
No. The calculation runs from the numbers in the page URL and stores nothing. If you want the figures saved, tracked against real bills and re-checked weekly, that is what the member cash-flow tool does.
