I worked with customer support for 6 years before I started mentoring. I also help with product management. I keep sessions focused on one problem and send a short list of next steps afterwards. People early in their search tend to get the most out of an hour with me. I volunteer some of my time for people on tight budgets. Evenings and weekends are easiest for me.
