Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Seattle, WA)

Cedar Beacon Press is a printer and publisher in Seattle serving local and national clients, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. You would join a large organisation of about 974 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving proofing with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
