Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (San Diego, CA)

Amberfield Quill Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in San Diego with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle work involving weigh tickets with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
