Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Richmond, VA)

Amberfield Ashton Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Richmond with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on shipping and loading. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving recycling loads with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
