Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (remote)

Fernwood Junction Housing is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on shipping and loading for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle work involving rent assistance with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
