Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (remote)

Fernwood Birch Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Salt Lake City. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on shipping and loading. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving dock schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
