Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Providence, RI)

Ironwood Fern Transit Planning is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on shipping and loading for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 69 people based in Providence. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving ridership counts with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
