Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Providence, RI)

Silverline Lantern Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Providence. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on shipping and loading. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving classroom supplies with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
