Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Portland, OR)

Summit Property Management Partners is a Portland property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people based in Portland. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving maintenance requests with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
