Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Kestrel Construction and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be shipping and loading. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving safety records with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
