Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Beacon Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around New Orleans, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving promotions with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
