Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Kansas City, MO)

Summit Bright Housing Partners is a nonprofit housing provider in Kansas City. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on shipping and loading. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving lease compliance with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
