Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Quarry Environmental Services and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be shipping and loading. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving landfill records with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
