Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Detroit, MI)

Bright River Markets is a Detroit retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on shipping and loading. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving promotions with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
