Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Granite Press is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on shipping and loading for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving proofing with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
