Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Meridian Facilities is a facilities company in Des Moines with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on shipping and loading. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving contractor visits with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
