Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Harbor Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Des Moines, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving recycling loads with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
