Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Manufacturing makes precision components in Des Moines, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving production lines with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
