Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Cobalt Construction is a Chicago contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. You would join a large organisation of about 257 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Handle work involving project schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
