Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Lantern Markets is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on shipping and loading for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Handle work involving shrink and waste with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
