Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Wren Transit Planning and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be shipping and loading. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving survey data with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
