Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Buffalo, NY)

Northwind Cross Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Buffalo, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving housekeeping schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
