Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Haven Property Management is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on shipping and loading for vendor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 122 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving vendor invoices with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
