Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Birmingham, AL)

Rivermark Cedar Hospitality is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on shipping and loading for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving food costs with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner.
