Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Yarrow Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Birmingham with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on shipping and loading. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving recycling loads with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
