Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Nest Manufacturing makes precision components in Birmingham. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on shipping and loading. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Handle work involving machine downtime with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
