Warehouse Associate - shipping and loading (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning Partners plans bus and rail service for cities around Anchorage, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our shipping and loading. You would join a small organisation of about 147 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving route schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
