Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Sable Markets is a Virginia Beach retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving pricing with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
