Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Northwind River Housing Group and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be receiving and put-away. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving resident services with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
