Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Glen Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around San Jose, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our receiving and put-away. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Handle work involving fare systems with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
