Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Stone Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Sacramento region. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving seasonal crews with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
