Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Richmond, VA)

Summit Pine Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Richmond. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving maintenance stores with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
