Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be receiving and put-away. You would join a small organisation of about 160 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving ridership counts with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
