Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (remote)

Northwind Beacon Press is a printer and publisher in Birmingham serving local and national clients, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our receiving and put-away. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving customer orders with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
