Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (remote)

Fernwood Lakeside Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Orlando. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. We reward reliability. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving dock schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
