Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (remote)

Ironwood Fern Freight is a San Diego logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. You would join a large organisation of about 842 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving customer tracking with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
