Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Oak Farms and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be receiving and put-away. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving cold storage with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
