Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Portland, OR)

Northwind Glen Farms is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on receiving and put-away for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle work involving harvest schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
