Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Philadelphia, PA)

Northwind Wilder Markets is a Philadelphia retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving supplier deliveries with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
