Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Sparrow Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Oakland with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving service complaints with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
