Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Property Management Partners is a New Orleans property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving vendor invoices with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
