Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Orchard Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of New Orleans. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. You would join a large organisation of about 656 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving loads and lanes with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
