Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Hartford, CT)

Nova Rowan Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Hartford. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving weigh tickets with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
