Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Hartford, CT)

Nova Field Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Hartford. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving shrink and waste with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
