Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Oak Transit Planning is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on receiving and put-away for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 198 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Handle work involving survey data with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
