Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Nest Housing is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on receiving and put-away for maintenance stores, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 257 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving maintenance stores with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
