Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Ashton Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Des Moines. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving sanitation schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
