Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood Pike Early Learning Group is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on receiving and put-away for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving classroom supplies with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
