Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Thistle Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Des Moines, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our receiving and put-away. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving warranty claims with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
